My story
08/04/21 Angel, previously known as Roly Poly, was surrendered back to the shelter after a year in her previous home due to them not feeling they could proved her with enough attention. As previously mentioned Angel is quite the escape and will run if given the opportunity. Angel was also known to be quite destructive in her last home and will dig and scratch even inside the home when unsupervised. Her previous owners did mention that she appeared to have some seperation anxiety. This is something that her new owners may want to address with their vet prior to adopting. Angel was said to do well with the other dog in her previous home as long as she was getting enough attention. It is unknown how she does with smaller critters such cats, pocket pets, or livestock. Huskies tend to have a high prey drive so please be extremely cautious if choosing to introduce her. Angel was said to do well babies and LOVES CHILDREN! Angel is also said to be housebroken, kennel trained, and to ride well in a vehicle. Angel is looking for a very active home that can keep her both mentally physically stimulated and out of trouble! Angel has pretty darn good teeth for her age, but she could use a dental in the near future to keep her mouth fresh and clean. If this girl sounds like the one for you please give the shelter a call! 04/19/20 Roly Poly was surrendered to the shelter when her family moved out of state. Roly Poly is true to her husky breed and lives to run, which is why her previous owner said she needs a fenced in yard. Her previous owner also said that she can escape and chew her way out of kennels and can cause a lot of damage in a short amount of time. She is very smart and will need an active home with someone who is either an avid runner, biker or skiier. Roly Poly is said to be house trained but when left alone will become anxious and have accidents. She is good with some dogs if they are not bossy and she is said to do well with cats and children.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt ANGEL, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
