My story
02/09/22 Angel comes from a sled dog background but is starting to slow down due to her age. Her previous owner felt she may due better on a rec team that goes at a slower pace. Angel has previously run in all positions on the dog team except lead.
Angel has lived her entire life outdoors so if her new owner plans on transitioning her to the indoor dog life please keep in mind this may be a whole new world for her. She may need help with potty training and just the ins and outs of living indoors. Here at the shelter Angel has enjoyed the comforts of a nice soft blanket and has kept her kennel clean! Even though she is an older girl she still has quite a bit of spunk! She may enjoy learning the art of skijoring with her new owner! We not necessarily know how Angel does with children or other animals. Please make sure to do all introductions in a safe and controlled environment. Angel is an Alaskan husky and they do tend to have higher prey drives so if you have smaller critters please keep that in mind. If you feel that Angel could be the perfect match for you please give the shelter!
If you have any questions or would like to adopt ANGEL, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
