My story

　　Andrea,

　　I came to Wags a broken and lost pup. My mom didn't want me anymore. I am a shy and scared medium sized lap dog. I promise that I am a good girl. I am potty trained, know sit/stay/lay down. I need a new family that is patient and kind. I am scared of loud noises and fast movements. I did not have the best start in my short life according to my foster mom. I am gentle with taking treats. I am ready for my new life to begin/ I want to leave all of the bad behind and look forward to a shining new life. Please consider giving me a space on your couch and in your heart.

　　All of our pets are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested if over 6 months old and will be spayed or neutered before being allowed to go home. 

　　Unfortunately, we don't always know the background of each dog. Some were dumped, abandoned in an empty house, left tied to a tree, picked up by animal control as strays, or simply unwanted by their owners. Please take into consideration that owning a pet is a 10+ year commitment and discuss with all members of your family before submitting an application to adopt. 

　　If you have already filled out an online adoption application with our organization in the last 6 months you do not need to fill out another application. Please call or email us to schedule an appointment.
