Andorra 30233's story
Andorra is an 1-and-1/2-year old female German Shepherd who must be spayed before she is adopted. She was brought to PAHS by Animal Control when she was found as a stray out in the county; and her owner never came looking for her. Andorra has a very light cream (almost white) coat and she has some black spread throughout her tail. If you look closely at her face it appears she has a black handle bar moustache! She currently weighs 58 pounds so she is considered to be a large adult dog. As you can see in her pictures, Andorra poses like a pro for pictures. She is very photogenic. This gorgeous gal is quite active and playful. Andorra would be great in a home with children. She is good with dogs her size but we are unsure about her with smaller dogs. Andorra may be dog selective about who her canine friends are. If you have another dog, a meet and greet between your dog and Andorra would be a great idea. She is leash trained and appears to be so smart we believe she could easily be trained to do basic commands like sit, stay, etc.. We noticed as we made Andorra's pictures that she is very alert and curious about the sights and sounds going on around her. She is just an all round great dog with the happiest personality. Andorra is a joy to be around and she is sure to be a great new friend to some lucky adopter.
Dogs can be adopted for $120. Cat adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter certificate, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heartworm negative.
