Anatolian Shepherd - Bojangles - Large - Young - Male - Dog

　　You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bojangles, or Bo, is a handsome 4-5 year old Anatolian Shepard mix. He came into the shelter with an injured knee that would require surgery and his owners did not come looking for him. However, Labradors and Friends Dog Rescue saved Bos life by pulling him from the shelter, where he would have most certainly been euthanized, and gave him the medical attention he needed. Now, Bo is joyfully recuperating from his knee surgery and being fostered by a family with a 5 year old boy, another foster dog, and a cat. Bo does not act like a dog that underwent knee surgery. He is bouncy and happy and tries to do too much. Once healed, this boy would enjoy longs walks, hikes, beach days, or just chilling out on the couch. He is extremely well behaved in a home. Completely housebroken, loves to be with his people but also likes his time outside where he can soak up the sun. Bo would prefer to live with older children (8+ years) as overly active children make him a bit uncomfortable. He enjoys the company of another dog but would also be fine by himself. He needs to be fed separately as he gets a bit protective of his food bowl with another animal. He is totally fine with people touching his food but not dogs. His foster mom is working with him on learning some life skills like: sitting nicely and waiting before diving into his food bowl and he is learning to walk better on a leash. There really isnt much to improve as this guy is a big love bug who would love a family of his own. Bo most enjoys cuddling up on the sofa with his foster mom and snuggling while being petted. Please help this beautiful boy find his new family and know the love that he so deserves.
