Anatolian Shepherd - Allie - Large - Adult - Female - Dog

　　Allie may be a livestock guarding dog whose job was once to watch over sheep, but she is 100% a people dog in our book. She craves time spent around people and will lean in for petting and grooming. In her recent past she lived with young children who she reportedly did very well with. She is not nearly as fond of cats, but has been social with dogs in her former home. With the stress of being in a shelter, she was guarded and cautious with the dog she met here. With time and slow introductions she can likely live with another dog again. Allie will need a very secure home and yard and a family who can interact with her on a regular basis. She would prefer the comforts of a home to pastures with sheep as she really craves time with her people. Prior Livestock Guarding Dog breed experience preferred.
