American Shorthair - Princess Bubble Up - Small - Young - Female
What a story fit for a Princess. This little sweetie needs a very special home. Why? Well, to explain it I would have to say that as a human comparison she is legally blind. Our veterinarian has told us that the Princess needs to go to the eye specialist. She has a congenital problem that can only be fixed through surgery. She was born with abnormal eyelids. This said, she already has had enough damage to cause one blind eye. The cornea is ruined. Both her eyes will need surgery and she will look differrent than other cats. That said, she really doesn't care. She loves to be held and carried around. Touching her is the switch that turns on the motor. Purr,.purr, purr.......She has a little squeak of a meow. Due to her disablitiy she has a fear of other animals. For this reason she would do best as an only pet. Things that need to be considered are the following: not being able to judge distances well, having blury vision. She needs to be totally inside and her people must never leave water in the tub, or the seat up on the toilet as she could fall in and drown. She must go with you wherever you go and not be left behind when vacations are taken. She should be in a home where she will be frequently checked on. A special environment might help her feel more secure. For instance, if you have a small place that;'s fine. But if you have a large house you would want to give her, her own room that is safety proofed for her. Just like a lbind cat a partially blind cat needs to get to know their way around and not have the floor plan changed. So who will take the Princess Bubble Up challenge? Who will give a little to get all that love!? She won't let you down. You do the same. Contact us: [email removed]
