American Eskimo Dog - Keats - Medium - Adult - Male - Dog

　　Keats is a 5 year old, 23 lb., male, American Eskimo mix. While initially nervous at PACC, he transitioned to his foster home easily and almost immediately started displaying his very calm and loveable demeanor. Hes extremely comfortable with people and discretely follows us everywhere, knowing how to stay near, but always out of our way. He gets along with dogs of any size and gender and is always willing to play and romp with any or all of our three. His current best bud is twice his size, but they manage to find all types of games and toy-stealing scenarios that keep us laughing for hours. A good nap on a sofa afterward or lounging near each other on the floor is a must, just in case either wants to resume the play session. Evenings are reserved for finding an empty lap to curl up on, an activity at which Keats is a master. And if no lap space is available he is agile enough to jump up and lay on the top of the back of a sofa or chair. He is uncanny in his ability to adapt to any situation and still show his devotion and affection. In other words, he is what a true companion dog should be. Hes housebroken and crate-trained, but we arent sure of his doggie door knowledge since we dont have one. Not having children or cats, we have no knowledge of his tolerance for either.
