American Bulldog - Miley - Large - Young - Female - Dog

　　This is Miss Miley, approximately 2 years of age she is an American Bull Dog Mix. I feel mixed with boxer as she is very active with her front feet and has the tongue that hangs out the majority of the time. I have had Miss Miley as a foster going on 2 months now, I can not begin to tell you what a sweet girl she is... When I took Miss Miley on as a foster she was rated a S5 a vicious dog.... This she is NOT!! She had 3 I week old puppies and was a very good protective mother. I will say this little girl has been severely abused in her short life. She was so scared of everything and everyone she would cower in shame and fear... We worked with her and she has over come the majority of her fears. She is still however very cautious of tile floors and terrified of wood floors. I think it is a good thing but she is scared to enter the kitchen and just recently became a couch hog! She likes to lay by your bed to sleep but has not tried or shown interest in sleeping in the bed at all. She prefers her pillow bed by yours. If you try to put her bed in another room she will not sleep in it she will lay on the floor. She loves to sit beside you and get a pet she always wants to have a paw shook or have it resting on you in some way she loves to feel your touch and be close to you. She has not given any kisses she seems to keep her tongue to herself. She does not prefer a kennel but will go in one and do fine, she is just reluctant to go in on her own. She is improving on being left out alone in the house however she is in love with stuffed animals and barbies so much that she loves them to pieces... So if you have kiddos she likes to play with their barbies and stuffed animals. I have since left her alone with no access to toys and she does great! She is very house broken she has been since day one. She will go to the door and do a low pitch whine a few times and if you don't come to let her out she will do a scratch or two on the door. I have introduced her to the doggie door and she loves it and comes and goes as needed. She knows basic commands sit, shake, lay, she is working on stay that is one she does not like to hear...Loves car rides but again needs help into the car but is so happy to go. She is very good with baths and grooming. I have free fed her and she is very disciplined when it comes to eating she does not treat it like an all you can eat buffet... She loves to go for nightly walks she looks forward to it every evening and goes to the key holder where I have her leash on time every evening its funny how she knows the time 7:00 pm. I have been mixing up her schedule for a week now so it is not a problem in her forever home with the time. She is one smart cookie and learns things so fast. She is obsessed with squeaky toys she LOVES them!! She does not squeak them on her own but she carries them around for hours and brings it to you to squeak and throw for her to get however she is selfish and does not bring it right back... Miss Miley is a great dog with young children very loving and tolerant she does like to give you a paw and her nails are quite sharp so they need to remain trimmed at all times or she will scratch unintentionally. She is really low key in the house and yard very easy going and not hyper at all she lays around and waits for loves. She is great with other small dogs and did fine with a neutered male she acted like she was not going to take any beef off of him so I was cautious. She has not personally been around cats but does not seem to care at all about the one who walks the back wall. She has had a few health problems she had a infection in her uterus so her spay will solve that problem. She does have some sort of allergy to something so she has itched the bumps so much she has developed a staff infection, she is on antibiotics and omega 3 pills and we have switched her to a grain free food she seems to be getting better day by day...
