My story
02/19/22 10:22 Alfalfa came to the shelter with Jane, Darla and Buckwheat because their owner could no longer care for them. They were quite shy at first, but appear to be highly treat motivated (good for training!) and have opened up a lot during their time at the shelter!
These dogs may have been kept as outside dogs in their previous life, so will need to start at square one for potty training and learning basic manners if you would like to transition them into indoor pets.
Basic obedience classes would be a great way to bond with your new cutie, learn tips and tricks for training, and exercise mentally!
These pups seem to be dog-friendly, but we don't have any information as to whether they have ever encountered cats, kids, or smaller critters, so please take introductions to any new housemates slowly and carefully!
These sweet pups are likely going to be high energy go-ers, based on their breed, so they would do best in an active home that can keep them moving and challenge them.
If you are looking for a hiking, skiing, walking/running, adventure companion, check these adorable friends out!
If you have any questions or would like to adopt *ALFALFA, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
