Alba's story
Alba arrived at Horse Creek Wildlife Sanctuary on January 10, 2019.
She is full-grown weighing in at 30 pounds, and we think she is a lovely Lab mix. She is a shy girl who loves people once she warms up. She enjoys receiving attention from our volunteers and going for walks along the paved walking trails. Playing and running in the exercise areas with friends is her top priority.
Alba is patiently waiting for her forever home. Do you have room in your heart and family for this sweet girl?
All of our dogs are spayed or neutered and current on all vaccinations. They receive monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention. All of their medical needs are taken care of before they are available for adoption. Our adoption fee is $100.00. Please complete an application, if you have found a dog you are interested in adopting. You can find our application at /applic.html. Once completed, you can forward it to [email protected] or fax it to . Kim Austin, our adoption facilitator, will be in contact with you as soon as she has an opportunity to review your application. Understand that she has other duties and she will not ignore any interest shown in adopting one of our dogs. An application will need to be approved before a scheduled time to visit our dogs will be set up. It may take up to 48 hours before she returns your call or responds to your email, due to work schedules, holidays and adoption events. We do the very best we can for the dogs we have rescued and do not take the adoption process lightly. Please be patient and understand that we will place our rescued dogs in the very best homes possible and reserve the right to refuse applications.
