Aki's story

　　Aki is a fabulous boy.

　　He's about 7 years old, and had been kept as a watch-dog at a truck stop, but when that closed, his previous owners gave him up to a Los Angeles shelter.

　　Aki is a sweet-natured, gentle soul, who, with careful introductions (as we would recommend for ALL dogs, regardless of breed) can interact well with other, polite dogs. He's a gentleman indoors and even plays a game of fetch quite effectively!

　　We have not tested him with cats or small critters, but would expect, due to his breed, that he would be have a typically high prey drive, so caution would be needed.

　　We have not tested him with children either, but suspect that dog-savvy older children should do fine.

　　He's completely housebroken and takes treats with gentleness - he loves to be near his people.
