Agfa Tully-K Folding Flash Unit (#253) $25
You are looking at a classic Agfa Tully-K folding camera flash unit (Type 6836) with sync cable made in Germany during the 1960s. It was manufactured by Agfa-Gevaert NV, located in Munich, West Germany and their history goes back to the nineteenth century. For decades Agfa was one of the largest European manufacturers of photographic films and equipment and a huge competitor to Kodak and Fujifilm.
This flash unit is small and was designed to simply attach to a camera (called: hot shoe mount) for fast and accurate lighting capabilities. The pop-out and pop-in folding disc can be easily maneuvered. It uses a common AG-1 flashbulb and requires a 15V battery. The back side shows exposure settings for different types of flash bulbs. For color films the blue-dot bulbs are recommended and for black & white its clear.
The item is in excellent condition and still in its original Tully orange box (see pictures). It will need a new battery and flash bulbs. This would make a great gift for an antique photography or camera enthusiast or it can make a cool display in any office or shop.
Dont miss out, another impressive addition and a must have for any camera collection.
