Acorn's story

　　Acorn is a very shy Chihuahua mix who is learning to love in her foster home. Acorn takes some time to warm up to new people and adjust to new situations, but is very food motivated and willing to learn and expand her world. Acorn is mostly potty trained, and does use potty pads when needed. Acorn would love a quite home that is willing to give her the time and attention she needs to come out of her shell and blossom into the playful dog we know is in there. Acorn does enjoy sitting on a warm lap, but can be nervous when being picked up and carried. Acorn does best with another dog around for moral support and won't fare well as an only dog. If you are willing to open your home and heart to a deserving dog who didn't get the best start in life Acorn will be an amazing dog to watch transform into her true self!
