ACE's story
Ace was brought to the shelter because his owner did not have time to train or exercise him. He is a very friendly puppy in need of more guidance to learn how to be a well behaved companion! Ace has met dogs and children, and would benefit from meeting more people as he grows! He has been confused during the housebreaking process, so his new family will need to start training as they would a young puppy with minimal bladder control. He is very smart and will learn quickly with consistent training. Ace will be a great addition to an active home with time to work with him!
6/22/18: Ace returned to the shelter after being adopted for only three days. Ace is a young puppy with extremely high energy levels and has not been fully housebroken at this time. Training Ace to potty outside consistently will require time, attention and most of all PATIENCE. As Ace is a large puppy, this process may also be messy for some time until he gains control over his bladder and bowels. Ace will likely not be a good fit for first time dog owners, or people that are not home much or lead busy lives.
