My story

　　Abilene is an 1-year-old female Lab mix. She came to PAHS as a stray who was found out in the county and her owner never came looking for her. Abilene is one gorgeous girl! Her coat is tan and she has white markings. We love her perky Terrier ears! Abilene is such a sweet girl who would be fine in a home with other dogs and children. She currently weighs 33 pounds so she is considered to be a medium sized dog and we don't think she will get much bigger. Looking for the perfect family dog? Look no more--Abilene is ready to go home with some lucky adopter. By the way, she poses like a show dog! ****Please note that when introducing a new dog into a home with children and other pets adult supervision is strongly recommended until the new dog settles in with the family.****Dogs may be adopted for $120. Cat adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter certificate, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heartworm negative.
