The speciality while preparing the Patola silk sarees is that the weft and yarp yarns are first dyed before weaving them. The duration to prepare for a single saree just the design on the warp and weft takes about 3 to 4 months. Usually, two workers in a day weave approximately 8 to 9 inches on the sarees and it takes 40 to 50 days to weave the full saree. However, while designing sarees, it will take 5 to 6 months more time as per the intricacy of the design.
