I've been collecting dolls for over 50 years. I am now 71. I used to have a doll shop in California from '60s to '90s. I have sold my house. It clears escrow on June 1. I have had these doll molds since 1983. I bought them from the estate of Vivian Ellis of San Carlos, CA. If you have been a doll collector and/or maker for more than a few years then you know who she was. These are molds for the antique dolls. German, French, American, etc. Most have never been used. Just never got around to it. There are molds for heads, bodies, arms, hands, legs, feet. These molds are no longer available. There are Seeley, Byron, etc. The rarest one is for a 24" Kestner baby doll. Always meant to make one but never had the time somehow. I am at the point that I have to decide what to do with them. I am keeping my dolls but.....Need to sell the molds before the house clears escrow. It would be a shame if they ended up broken because someone didn't know what they were. Also into trading. I need a twin bedroom set. I also need another car. I realize that $300 isn't enough for a good reliable car so I would expect to add money for the car. My car is reliable enough though it's older Biggest drawback is it's got a standard transmission. Would like to let the car shift for me in my old age. The molds are in my storage shed in the backyard so they're a little hard for me to take pictures of them. I can't lift them anymore to make it easier for pictures so you need to come and look if interested.
