The TREK, purchased in 2004 (17.5" frame) is in superb condition, though 8 yrs old the bike has not been used in the last 6
years. With an original upgraded MSRP of $2899.99, I am asking $850.00 or best SERIOUS offer and the bike is well worth the deal. The bike shop said that I should ask for about $950, but by no means should accept any less than $800.00. The bike is considered a cross-country racing bike and is light and maneuverable for its abilities, however, the bike as you also see in the reviews is capable of much more rough terrain. I rode this bike on great southern Utah slick rock and mountain trails, just short of being capable of handling downhill mountain biking where the suspension needs to be 8" plus and this bike has 5", so it is not built for flying off 70 feet drops! Š I have taken the bike to local mountain bike shops had it looked over and was given selling suggestions based on its little cosmetic wear and tear but all almost the entire paint job for the liquid TREK is in perfect condition. I also have kept up on and maintained the bike. I have had the chain, suspension and all other necessary components lubricated/checked/inspected regularly. Shocks as well as the brake system have been gone over yearly and the most recent full bike maintenance was completed in June 2012. The only bike during this year that was an upgrade from the Liquid 30 was the Liquid 55 which only had an MSRP of $100.00 more due to a slight change in the shocks both rear and front but as see by the reviews below the Fox Talas RL rear shock and the RockShox Psylo Race are rated well among other users. The tires currently on the bike are Michelin Mountain Biking tires with tubes and are brand new. I suggest using them as they were not cheap. A friend wanted to be nice a replace my tires, however, would recommend replacing with the Bontrager or other mountain bike brand of tubeless tire.**EXTRAS
