Behold...this is a 17" 1992 D'Angelico New Yorker Replica. This guitar was one of 17 Guitars made by the Heritage guitar Company commissioned by a Div of GHS string. Originally Purchased from Gruhn Guitar in Nashville, Paul Yandell Owned and operated this beauty till his retirement. I was lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time. It's got a Floating Kent Armstrong Pick up. The Wood on the back of this guitar is a 10...it's a perfect Chevron. All in all it's pretty clean, it's been played quite a bit, the fret are still good, but there's a little finish wear showing on the neck. The guitar has a bright wonderful bell sound to it, I was say the neck is on the thinner side, it plays great and really does sing, I currently have the action up high on it ...It's not a real D'Angelico...But it's as close as you can get to one for the money, it's nicer than any Gibson or Heritage I've see or played. Comes complete with a note from Paul Yandell as well as a new leather case Gibson gave him and the D'Angelico case cover I picked up along the way...you'll look along long long long time before you find another Hand Made replica at this price. Local Sale...not shipping this baby anywhere.
