780- Mona's story

　　This is the Southwest corner of Iliff and Buckley - the corner with Burger King and the Money Tree. Look for our signs out on the sidewalk in front of our new place. We are right next to the groomer.

　　Mama of puppies #781-786

　　Age: 3 years - Full grown at 12lbs. She has a slight underbite.

　　Adoption Fee: $225 + $50 spay/neuter deposit

　　Mona is a 12lb Sheltie mix mama. She is loving and has lots of kisses. She is always so happy to see you. Mona is very patient and loving with my kids, ages 5, and 10. She greets them every morning and sleeps with them on sick days. Mona is overwhelmed by big playful dogs but gets along with small dogs and our big (old and cranky) dog just fine. A perfect 'go everywhere with the family' dog, she is small, and friendly. She uses the dog door consistently and we are starting to teach her some tricks. Mona likes to sleep on the bed, hide her dog treats in your shoe, and is an extremely good problem solver. Mona does not like to be left home alone and has dug under the fence to come find us. This was a simple fix for us, we close the dog door now when we leave the house. However, her ideal family wouldn't mind loading her up with them to go on their daily adventures.

　　ABOUT ADOPTING FROM CPR: Adopters must be 21 years of age or older. Our puppies are only available at our adoption events. CPR does not reserve or take requests. Due to our limited foster homes, we cannot hold puppies for anyone nor can we board puppies after being adopted. Because of the overwhelming demands on our foster homes, all adoptions must be done on a first-signed up, first-served basis. Online signup will be available at 12:01am on adoption day until 30 minutes prior to the start of the event, at which time sign up will begin in person at The Hopeful Hound adoption center.
