Every 7400 series VT Plus features an all robotically welded 6? square tube frame. They are designed to be pulled at speeds of 8 to 8 1/2 miles per hour and require approximately 8 to 10 engine horsepower per foot. Wing sections fold hydraulically for transporting. Two cylinders per wing section are used to fold all five-section models as well as the 29? and 33? three section units. All are standard while two cylinders per wing are optional on the 26?. The machine is heavy enough to size heavy residue and penetrate hard tough soils in fall operations, but has the flotation and ground hugging capabilities for precise depth control during spring seedbed preparation work. All 7431 models are all equipped with walking tandem wheels and high flotation tires for outstanding ground following capabilities. This provides unmatched depth control across the entire cutting width of the machine and equal distribution of weight on each wheel assembly. The walking beam pivot bearings rotate on 2?diameter hardened chrome spindles on all models except the 33?. It features 2 ? diameter spindles on the center section only. Pivot bearings on all 7431 models can be greased. All 7431 models are equipped with 2 .? diameter spindles with the exception of the center section of 29? and 33? models that feature 3?. All spindles are equipped with eight bolt triple sealed hubs and wheels. The hubs can all be greased and the wheels feature valve stem protection for increased uptime. Highway service tires are standard on all 7431 models, however, 33? models feature even larger tires rated at 8,000-pound capacity each on its center section. These heavy-duty tires provide trouble free service both in the field and on the road. If interested please contact Shane at
