474- Leo's story

　　Age: 7-8 months

　　Adoption Fee: Name your price + $50 spay/neuter deposit

　　This is Leo. Leo is a 7-8 month old blue heeler mix boy who is looking for his new family.

　　Leo was adopted from Colorado Puppy Rescue last year and was just returned to us. He is loyal, loving and protective of his people. Leo was house trained in his last home but may have a few accidents as he gets used to his new one. Leo is scared of new people and situations. He barks at strangers and will pee when afraid. He warms up quickly and is very affectionate. He loves to have his ears rubbed. His last home did not have other pets but did have children. Leo is very active and loves to play frizby. He likes hanging out outside during the day but will come in and cuddle at night. Like a Lab, Leo likes to hold your hand gently in his mouth. He loves to chew. It's his second favorite thing!

　　Leo needs basic training. CPR will pay for the first set of basic obedience classes with our trainer Megan of Full Pawtential Dog Training - Denver.

　　Leo is heart broken to have lost his family. He has a lot of love to give to the right people.

　　ABOUT ADOPTING FROM CPR: Adopters must be 21 years of age or older. Our puppies are only available at our adoption events. CPR does not reserve or take requests. Due to our limited foster homes, we cannot hold puppies for anyone nor can we board puppies after being adopted. Because of the overwhelming demands on our foster homes, all adoptions must be done on a first-signed up, first-served basis. Online signup will be available at 12:01am on adoption day until 30 minutes prior to the start of the event, at which time sign up will begin in person at The Hopeful Hound adoption center.
