The Loft is a 7 bedroom, 3 bathroom shared community apartment in the sunny South Beach area in SOMA, located at 472 3rd Street. We have a newly renovated full-size kitchen with a Thor gas range and Heath Ceramics backsplash, along with a large French door refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave. There are also cozy and spacious living and dining areas and in-apartment Samsung washer and dryer machines. All of the common spaces are fully furnished with everything from couches and tables to silverware and house plants. We’re on the entire second (and top) floor of a building located across the street from South Park – high on the everyone’s list of San Francisco’s many hidden gems!

SOMA NEIGHBORHOOD GUIDE

The apartment is located right across the street from the recently renovated South Park, where you can enjoy a morning coffee, a picnic with friends, or a glass of wine in the evening. It is also just a short walk to several restaurants, bars, and cafes that offer outdoor seating and take-out, including the popular Hakashi restaurant downstairs, 21st Amendment Brewery, Garaje, Zero Zero, Little Skillet, Black Hammer Brewing, American Grilled Cheese Kitchen, South Park Café, and Local Brewing.

In addition to these local amenities, the apartment is just 2 blocks from the Embarcadero, where you can walk (or jog!) north to the Ferry Building or south to enjoy the walking paths, parks, cafes, and restaurants in Mission Bay and the Dogpatch. BART, Caltrain, the Financial District, and all of SOMA are all also easily accessible by foot.

AVAILABLE ROOMS

Members at The Loft rent partially furnished private bedrooms, and share all the common spaces. The bedroom has been cleverly designed to maximize space and comes with a built-in queen sized convertible Murphy bed. The bed can be converted into a couch (by raising the bed into the wall) for more space during the day and the room can then be used as a private office.

MEMBERSHIP DETAILS

Utilities: $100 per month

Lease Term: 6 Months minimum

Security Deposit: $1,300

Pet Policy: Pet-free community

Move-In Costs: First months rent + security deposit
