Here is a large (46" tall) mid-century FAIP plaster table lamp with matching shade. The base color is ivory with a fine gold paint splatter. There are raised circles in yellow, orange, blue-green, and brown that have a spiral design on the top and cut in gold. These very same designs are around the top of shade over a thick brown ribbon. Because it had a clear shade cover over it for protection, the shade is in really excellent condition. The base and top are teak wood. The within lamp base is hollow. There is a round felt pad on the bottom. This has a 3 method lighting fixture. Structurally lamp is straight.
Had lamp provided on E-Bay however a lot of questions because of Local Pick-Up Only and NO SHIPPING due to size/weight/&& cost. Due to the fact that of size of Box, can only be shipped UPS Ground, and the expense is over $130.00; therefore, will certainly not deliver. The lamp is crammed in a box and ready for choice up.
There are just a few little problems: There is a little area about 1" on the shade that was dented and left an approximate 1" fracture in the inner plastic lining under the material, but not genuine noticeable when on. One lower circle design has a" chip in it. There is some paint loss on some and small cracking on some of the swirl designs on the top of the circles mostly the gold color. This can be retouched with your paint of choice considering that there is no glaze over the repainted surfaces. With this in mind, I will certainly rate this is in Good Vintage Condition.
