Description

I worked security at Rothbury Music Festival in Michigan, and Mike Gordon, bass player from the band Phish, played a set there in front of around 20,000 people. At this festival, Jon Fishman and Trey Anastasio were also playing separate sets on the same day. At this time, Phish had been broken up and was only rumored to be reuniting someday soon, and during Mike's set, Jon and Trey both took the stage for a couple songs, and it was known around the block as the 'mini reunion.' I was working behind the stage at rothbury during his set and after they were finished with their show, another security guard was throwing away trash and paper from onstage, and one of them had handwriting on it, so I asked him if I could have it, and he said "sh*t man, sure. I was just gonna throw it away." It turned out to be Mike Gordon's handwritten setlist for the little mini-reunion. The next summer or fall or whatever after that, they had their Hampton official reunion. I'm not the biggest phish fan in the world, and I have had this thing framed and sitting on the wall ever since. I recently moved to Fort Collins, Colorado, and I really need money for bills. This setlist is a good one because it was the first time 3 out of 4 members of Phish had played onstage together in several years. It is an absolute must-have for any phishhead. The front of the setlist shows the songs of course, also features a footprint, and a couple small groove-tears from where Mike's mic stand was standing. Also the back has some of his hotel and transportation information, obviously just a piece of paper he had in his pocket when he needed to write the setlist. I have attached a couple pictures, google search for photos of the sherwood stage @ rothbury '08 to compare so that you can see that it is indeed the same stage in the photograph with the screen blowing in the background. I also still have my staff wristbands that allowed full access to backstages, my staff meal tickets that I didn't use, and plenty of other setlists and autographs from that weekend. My friend on my right is holding one of the re-written copied setlists from the other band members, and I'm holding the original. And my other friend is having a blast behind us. If you collect setlists, there is no reason why you shouldn't have this one. I will personally deliver to almost anywhere in Colorado
