Please call boat owner Kris at . Boat is in Ketchikan, Alaska. 1973 42' Hatteras
Looking for a charter boat, live aboard or just want a nice older yacht? This may be the one for you; it has twin 903 Cummins engines, I had a new 7kw Gen Set put in the year I bought it. It has about 70 hours and the main engines have about 4000 hours. I also bought a new North Star chart plotter for the flying bridge and it has an older one in main wheelhouse. Another upgrade since I have owned it the last five years is a $1,500 pot puller for pulling shrimp pots. I also just replaced all four 8D batteries, two for each main engine in January.
The boat has a nice self-contained shower separate from the head. It has two state rooms and will sleep 6 comfortably. It has a furnace, electric oven/range, microwave and all the radios, radar windlass anchor, 3 bilge pumps, Coast Guard pack, compass, dockside power, live well, hydraulic steering, new 2005 wood flooring, 2 spare props, inverter, H&C water. The boat had a full canvas put on before I bought it as you can see in the pictures that cost about $18,000. It makes it nice for staying overnight in a wet climate or you can take the lower portion off for fishing on the large back deck but still have half the back deck covered.
I have the boat in Ketchikan with moorage transferable and would like to sell or possible trade. I have hardly used the boat since 2010 and would consider something in Seattle where I spend most of my time.
2004 survey was $105,000
