This planter is glass and has what looks to be decorative Chinese images around it. It is black with gold leaves and flowers all around. On the inside of the bowl there are large koi painted all the way around and on the bottom. It comes with a glass table top. I love this table and think it is a beautiful piece but I live in a very small apartment. My cats love it too and like to jump on it, tumping the glass. I'm afraid they are going to break it!
