My story
Robin is a beautiful, female Border Collie mix who may have some Pointer in her. She has a sweet, submissive personality and likes to be her person. She is a large, 75lb pup that is only 1yr old. She is already spayed. Robin is nervous in new situations but she warms up quickly if the surroundings are calm. She is very smart and knows sit and paw. She is very loving when she feels safe. Robin lived in a home where she had to hide under furniture to escape a child that treated her unfairly, so she is afraid of children. Robin is looking for an adult home or a home with teenagers who understand to be gentle around her if she is unsure. Robin likes to play with other dogs but she plays very roughly and insists on being in charge. If you have a playful and non-challenging dog at home, you can bring them by to have the dogs meet to see if they will be a good match. It may be best for Robin to have a slow introduction to a new dog so they can get used to each other’s playstyles.
