Two of the chairs are the same, but not really. They are quite old and I believe they are oak. My mother called the Irish Chippendale style. I am not sold on that. They are sturdy. The reason they are different is one has been recaned. The seat needs the reinforcing strip around the outer edge and it has an upholstered back. The other has the same back but the seat has not been caned. If we had room to use them I would use stuffing on a plywood piece to fit the seats and cover them with fabric.
--The chairs are 44" at the back, the seat is 19 1/2 " floor to seat, seat is 18" across and 17" front to back. They have original finish, dark oak. $15 each
--The other one is a Victorian ladder back chair. It has the original finish and I am not sure what the primary wood is, perhaps walnut. The slats have figured mahogany veneer and it has deeply turned parts. There is minimal carving. It is 42" at the back, floor to finials, 18" floor to the seat, the seat is 15" front to back and 18" across. $25 or all 3 for $50.
