beautiful, classic 1958 Chris Craft Cavalier Utility Runabout sitting on a custom double axle trailer. This is the plywood model (not a kit boat) so you don't have to soak it the beginning of each season to get it ready for the water. Just drop it in, turn the key and go.The engine is the straight 6 cylinder Hercules KFL model producing 131 HP which makes this baby fly through the water. The boat is very smooth and easy to handle at high speeds and cuts through the water like a knife through butter. Engine has a little over 700 hours of use since new in 58.I really, really love this boat but just wish I had more time to appreciate her and I hate to sell her but will have no storage for the coming winter and don't want to see her waste away in the elements. This is a very rare boat with the barely ever seen mahogany swim platform and when it was restored in 2006, they went to bare wood and varnish rather than re-adding the upper hull painted portions. It's the most beautiful example of a 1950's Cavalier I have ever seen. Do your research and you will see that less than 1000 were ever produced over roughly 10 years and to find one in this condition, is incredible.
