2012 Regal 2100 FasTrac: "The Chosen One"
( Huge Savings on Special Orders! )
What makes Regal Power Boats Stand Apart?
By bypassing the flowery jargon and cutting right to the chase. In the case of Regal?s
all-new 2100 FasTrac, it was bred to be lighter, faster, stronger and more fuel
efficient than anything before it.
?There are a lot of claims in this business, but few can back it up like our new 2100,?
says Duane Kuck, Regal?s President and CEO. ?This boat was designed to be the
best 21-footer on the market -- best in performance, appointments, styling, quality
and functionality. We don?t subscribe to hype at Regal. We start with smarter
engineering, and the 2100 is our answer.?
?The Best Performing?? How many boats do you know that claim this trait? At last
count, all of them. There are three basic factors at work in performance and every
builder has them: propulsion, hull design and weight. Since all manufacturers use the
same basic powerplant packages, it leaves the latter two as key differentiators. In
those categories, the 2100 wins hands down. Regal?s award-winning FasTrac hull
features full mid-beam step, which forces air beneath the hull when underway and
reduces drag. These hydrodynamics, combined with a specially-formulated lamination
schedule and composite framework enables the 2100 to run faster and deliver better
fuel economy than any boat in its class. Using only a 220 hp 4.3L in the bilge, the new
2100 is able to cruise at 31.3 mph and get a top end speed of 48.5 mph.
?The Most Comfortable?? A timeless axiom of boat builders, traditionally mixed in
with vinyl weights and foam densities. Yet every manufacturer has a cockpit adorned
with vinyl seating, so how can this boat truly stand apart? Since appointments are a
matter of taste, this boat was designed with two cockpit versions. The traditional
twin swiveling bucket seat version features a long, swept bench seat with contoured
backrest. The optional RX layout features a wraparound port bench seat with aft
facing backrest ? perfect for watching action behind the boat. The discerning eye will
notice in either arrangement that coaming panels are upholstered and contoured, not
plastic and edged. Bow seats have been contoured to meld perfectly with backsides,
and variable-position armrests have been added to make the bow the place to be.
Add to the mix a go-fast RS package, over 60 gelcoat color schemes, ingenious uses
of storage space, three choices of interior color packages and 25 optional features,
and the 2100 becomes as individual as the owner. The payoff? More choices, more
appointments and six inches of extra cockpit space over competition within its class.
?The Most Innovative?? A classic! With nearly every American boat builder pulling
from the same design gene pool, how can one boat truly stand apart? By pairing with
an Italian superyacht design group T4, the group responsible for producing the
legendary Regal 5260 Commodore Express Yacht. Based on the 5260?s edge
styling queue, the 2100 puts the competition?s soft ?Euro? styling to shame.
?The Highest Quality?? Don?t judge quality by words. Judge it by actions. Owners
have spoken for Regal quality, naming the builder the only marine manufacturer to be
ranked ?Highest in Customer Satisfaction? by J.D. Power and Associates five times in
three years. The brand has even garnered attention outside of the industry: Quality
Magazine ranked Regal 26th in its Top 100 list, ahead of heavyweights like Raytheon
Missiles and Black and Decker. You should expect that the same Regal quality found
in smaller and larger models is imbedded on the 2100. In fact, we guarantee it.
It?s easy to find a boat model that claims superiority in every category. But try finding
a model that backs it up like Regal?s new 2100. Do, and you?ll find the Chosen One.
Regal Marine Industries is a world leader in the design and manufacture of luxury
performance boats from 19 feet to 53 feet, and in 2008 became the first boat
builder to receive J.D. Power and Associates awards in two segments, twice;
?Highest in Customer Satisfaction with Express Cruisers (24 to 33 feet) and Small
Runabouts (16 to 19 feet).?
