　　-- The phrase "entry level" has become synonymous with bowriders in the 17- to 19-foot range. This description couldn't be more accurate when you look at the field: narrow beams of less than 8 feet, miniscule storage and only enough seating space for four adults. So when you come across a 19-footer with an 8-foot, 3-inch width, 46 cubic feet of storage and fanny space for seven adults, it's not fair to call it entry-level. You better call it a Regal. Regal's vice president of sales and marketing, Duffy Stenger sees it this way: "We felt that even though the 1900 may be a family's first boat, it shouldn't mean they get less of a boat. And the sales prove it -- it's our best-seller under 25 feet." With good reason. The 1900 isn't shy on standards. Starting aft, you'll find the largest swim platform in its class, a perfect venue for all watersport activities. A transom walk-thru provides entry into the cockpit. A removable 25-quart Igloo? cooler cleverly stows beneath the aft bench seat and is large enough to keep a big crew happy all day. The new-for-'10 standard digital Kenwood CD player features four high out-put speakers; and with the optional iPod dock, your favorite playlist is never far away. Need to adjust the volume when coming off plane or pulling into a busy marina? The digital display at the helm is located just forward of the throttle, making it both easy and safe to adjust the stereo under operation. For added visibility, the standard flip-up bolster on the helm seat is the answer. In terms of performance, the 1900's underbelly is the award-winning FasTrac hull. For 2009, Regal has added the 5.0 liter carbureted or fuel injected powerplant. When equipped with the Volvo 5.0 GXi, the 1900 is capable of reaching speeds near the 60 mph mark. Also for 2009, the 1900 is being offered in an RS edition, for those who want an appearance as aggressive as the ride.
