This trailer has been relisted since the purchase by the winner from the first auction fell through.  Up for auction is a 2011 Forest River Salem 25 RKS 22' bumper pull travel trailer.  The exterior

　　of the trailer is in average condition for its age.  The interior of the trailer is extremely

　　clean (smoke free/pet free/odor free). 

　　There is some water and sun damage to the trailer.  Per my RV tech, the rubber roof membrane will

　　need to be replaced soon due to sun damage. 

　　The seams in the roof were resealed earlier this year and during that process a

　　soft spot in the roof was located.  Last

　　winter there was substantial water leaking inside the trailer through the roof and the

　　slide which caused water damage to the floor of the slide as can be seen in the photos, the interior wall

　　beneath the slide, as well as an eight-inch section of the floor (soft spot) at the rear of the

　　trailer.  The seals for the slide are in poor condition overall.  There

　　is sun damage/oxidizing to the paint and graphics on the outside of the

　　trailer.  There is a one-foot section of

　　damage to the underside of the trailer from when a tire blew, and it tore away

　　the insulation from the underside of the floor. 

　　A couple of the drawer pulls inside the trailer are missing or

　　damaged.  The rubberized canvas of the

　　awning is badly sun damaged and the rubber has peeled away.  The AC unit works but does not regulate with

　　the thermostat, and it must be turned off manually at the breaker, otherwise it

　　will run until it freezes/overheats.  The fan in the bathroom works intermittently, the fan in the bedroom does not work.  In addition to having the roof seams resealed this year, I had a new 12-volt battery installed, about two years ago I had the wheel bearings repacked in grease and had four new leaf spring packs installed.   A Reese hitch with stabilizing bars is included.  Low estimated retail value for this trailer with options is $9450 through JD Power.  This trailer is being sold as-is, no warranty and no returns.   Please ask any and all questions prior to bidding.  This trailer can be viewed on the weekends by appointment in the Sacramento California area.  Free local pickup only.  I accept payment by cashier's check, postal money order, or cash.
