TOTAL XJR’s produced worldwide in 2008 equals 115!!
if you are looking for a more modern classic on the very rare side in great condition, you have found it! In 2008 Jaguar made the last of the revisions to the classic 350 body style with a revised lower grille, prominent faux side air vents, small bootlid spoiler, and revised seating. The side sills, rear bumper, and taillights were revised. The interior featured redesigned front seats. It was the last of what many believe was one of the most beautiful and distinctly designed sedans of that time period.
The Jaguars of the new millennium were also vastly improved mechanically and determined to be extremely reliable.
This particular XJR is finished in mostly original botanical green exterior color from the factory along with a charcoal interior. It has been maintained to the highest of standards. The paint is in near flawless condition with only some minor scratches on the bumpers. The interior leather shows very little wear especially considering its age, with the rear seating looking like it did the day it came from the factory. The original wheels have been professionally restored and do not have a scratch on them. All four tires were replaced with Continental tires with less than 10,000 miles on them.
The 400 hp engine is quick as a cat and with its upgraded exhaust has a sound that you will love to listen to. It is truly a great car to drive.
The exterior color is fascinating. It looks like a beautiful dark metallic green but at night when you are out and about it looks like it is black. There have been many times when I pulled up to a valet here in Southwest Florida and they would move a Bentley or Ferrari to put the classic Jaguar out front.
You would be hard-pressed to find a better example of this great looking classic. I have owned more than 20 classic cars and after selling The entire collection have saved this one for last because it’s been trouble free and one of the most enjoyable and beautiful automobiles I have had the privilege of owning. I am retired and no longer driving much, especially cars with 400 hp! I believe it is priced right given the condition that it is in and the rarity of one of the last classic XJR models available.
