　　convertible was the hardtop variant of the W209 CLK550 that was

　　introduced for the 2007 model year. The CLK550 convertible was

　　powered by Mercedes' M273 E55 engine, which was a 5.5L V8 engine

　　that generated 382hp. This power was sent to the rear wheels via a

　　5 speed automatic transmission. Production of the Mercedes-Benz

　　CLK550 ended in 2009, although a few examples are known to have
