This is a show design from Felipe and Mariano Conde, and is a reproduction of a 1953 guitar built by their papas - the earliest known guitar to showcase the now-famous "media luna" headstock shape.Very light in weight and more traditional-sounding than other Conde design in production, it stands for the flamenco guitar of the mid-20th century completely. Although there is certainly a tip of Esteso's design in this instrument, the tone of this guitar is bright, clear and even a bit bold. Really loud when pressed, it has a fair bit of snap to it while still keeping a warmer, "broken-in" quality frequently just found in older instruments. With very low action and a comfy neck, the guitar manages extremely easily and is a happiness to play. A perfect guitar for collector or performer alike.
