This is a medium 2006 Trek Session 7. I purchased the bike 2 seasons ago and completely rebuilt the bike. I never keep a bike after two years, so it's time for this one to go. I was in the process of replacing some worn out parts, and just decided to sell the bike without a drivetrain.
The Good: The offer comes with your choice of the 2004 888 pictured - comes with a complete rebuild kit, gun bag, set of springs, instruction manuals, 888 stickers and the original crown that came on the fork. I replaced the crown with a Risse racing crown ( a much better setup). This is one of the best forks Marzocchi ever built.----------- OR You can choose a Marzocchi 66 ( I don't have the pics up yet for this fork, but if you would like to consider this fork instead, let me know and I will get those for you )
Brake pads are about 3 months old ( I have a new set of pads that go with it )
Bike frame was always protected with "Frame Defender" (pictured) - Extra defender pads included.
The Bad: No drivetrain ( It needs cranks, pedals, bash guard if you choose, and a rear derailure (It comes with the x9, but is worn out)).
There is a small nick on the right hand stanchion as pictured ( I had planned to replace that stanchion as well, but just decided to sell the bike ).
could use a new set of tires, but these still have some life left.
All in all, this is a solid bike and the way that it's set up now is perfect for someone who wants to get into downhill without sacrificing a large sum of money.
Any questions, you're welcome to call or text me ( if I don't answer, I will get back to you ). You can always message me on pinkbike as well.
I'm open to offers, ( buyer pays shipping ) Thanks for looking.
