This custom 2006 Hummer H1 Alpha remains mechanically stock and is
powered by a 6.6-liter Duramax turbo-diesel 8-cylinder engine mated
to an Allison automatic transmission. It is finished in black on
black and features exterior and AV modifications that include KVK
Trac-vision A9 In-Motion automatic satellite TV antenna and
multiple TV monitors (two in the front, two in each rear seat
headrest and a rear-hatch-mounted 52-inch Sony flat-panel TV). The
head unit has navigation, Bluetooth and a backup camera. The stereo
also includes Focal speakers, custom subwoofers and enclosures.
Other modifications include a CB radio, a PA system and a train
horn. Upgraded lighting includes interior LEDs, two Rigid 50-inch
LED lightbars, two Rigid 20-inch LED lightbars in the front bumper
and two Rigid 50-inch LED lightbars in the rear. Recently this
Hummer H1 Alpha underwent complete maintenance restoration work.
The engine, transmission and all suspension parts have been
serviced and, when needed, replaced with New Old Stock parts.
Similarly, the underframe was cleaned and painted in the factory
black paint. The H1 Alpha was introduced as a one-year-only model
with a slew of major changes that set it apart from the rest of the
AM General Hummers produced from 1. GM upgrade highlights
include a special high-strength steel frame, a more powerful
steering gear and redesigned differentials and hubs. Only 729 H1
Alphas were built in 2006. 41,476 miles (title reads exempt). **
