With this 2006 Bayliner 185 you will quickly see that you don't have to spend a fortune to have a really great time on the lake. My wife and I were the second owner of the boat but are really good friends with the person we purchased it from. This was the first boat that either of us ever owned and found it to be a perfect "first-time" boat owners' boat. I say this because, A.) You can buy it for a reasonable price. & B.) It is completely reliable & C.) With the 3.0L you won't be spending $100 a weekend in gas like some of the large ski boats. Also, I put a new prop of which was only in the water when I took it out for a test ride this past weekend. An aluminum skeg guard and Stingray Speed -XP Hydrofoil Stabilizer were installed this past labor day weekend, only a few weeks before it was dry stored and winterized. Comes equipped with a Perko battery selector and second battery to help you relax and leave the tunes on. The engine runs perfect, idles perfect, starts on first turn of the key. This is a great boat!
