2004 BMW R1100S Boxer Cup Replica with 72,3xx miles on it and still going very, very strong. Clean CA title in my name. Intensely kitted out and well cared-for. A piece of history (read below).- I'm the third owner, I purchased the bike at 40k miles a decade ago.- Maintained meticulously since then by San Jose BMW and yours truly (have receipts); 72k mile service all done, it's turn-key ready for your adventure with front-and-rear Michelin Road 6s with 1k miles on them.- BMW factory options include the works; the carbon fiber bodywork, solo seat cover, Ohlins front and rear, wider rear wheel, shorter torque arm, no ABS, powerlet auxiliary power connector, front fender extension, unique number plate (#285/300 for 2004). And if you notice some stickers are missing, somehow, original owner opted not to have them put on. They are all included, still sitting in a binder since 2004. Also includes the famous "egg" tankbag - the only tank bag to fit an R1100S without looking goofy, and no longer made by BMW.- Bike has been intensely maintained but also intensely ridden. Engine was rebuilt at 60k miles by Chris Hodgson & co. at San Jose BMW and this is the last "R1150 SJS" conversion they did, which replaces the stock R1100 cylinders/pistons with R1150 parts, increasing compression from 11.3:1 to 11.8:1.- It also has a Remus stainless steel exhaust (not obnoxious and no repacking needed), San Jose BMW "powerfilter" (larger diameter intake and air filter surface area), larger intake valves, and a Power Commander III USB (w/air-fuel gauge on the dash) are all on the bike. Power Commander was tuned by Marc Salvisberg at Factory Pro and rides as awesome as it looks - still gets >40 mpg though!- The bike also has "Rapid Dog" Barbacks to lift the clip ons up and back towards you, letting you sit up more. Also a Sargent seat which is ridiculously more comfortable than stock. Adjustable rearsets have been purchased are in a box if you also want more room for your legs.- Other extras include Techspec tank grips, San Jose BMW fender integrated license plate turn signals, RAM "B" mount on the top triple, BMW factory luggage racks + cases (keyed to bike), Givi monokey (the large topcase) mount (but no Givi case included, I'm holding on to that), BMW special tools for removing ignition coils and properly adjusting alternator belt tension, the rare R1100S-specific Pitbull stand, stock seat + exhaust, and a box of parts (and it's mostly labeled, you're welcome).Bike is located in San Jose, CA. Buyer expected to pick it up locally or make arrangements to ship the vehicle... I can assist with shipping but have not worked with any local shippers I would recommend.
