I am the second owner of this beautiful 2003 Jaguar XK8 convertible.
This car has 18,359 original miles on it and
looks new.
It even still has the new car smell inside.
I purchased this car with around 9,300 miles on it back in
early 2009 to celebrate when my computer consulting side business signed its first substantial size client
contract.
My wife and I have always had a lot of cars so I never really drove it much and then I gave it to my
wife and she never really drove it much.
The car was purchased new and serviced at Jaguar in Mount Kisco by a
wealthy couple in Westchester where it was stored in their climate controlled garage.
After I purchased it I kept
it in the heated garage at my house in Wilton, Connecticut.
The car is triple black (ebony black exterior,
charcoal black interior and black top) and has the Jaguar factory 19” Apollo wheels.
This is the first year the
XK8s used the 4.2L V8 engine and 6 speed automatic transmission which is a very different car then the pre-2003
XK8s.
This car has almost all the available options including the built in GPS and CD changer in the trunk, Xenon
Headlights and Automatic Headlamp Leveling. The only think I recommend to be changed would be the tires.
It is
still running on its original Pirelli P-Zero Rosso tires.
Since we only drove it on nice days in the summer this
never made too much of a difference to us.
There is not much to say about the condition of the car with this low
of mileage.
The exterior/paint is excellent- no dents/dings, etc. and the interior and convertible top is like new
with no rips or tears.
The car needs nothing and has only had basic maintenance on it- oil changes, etc.
Cars
only have low mileage once so if you are looking for a nice low mileage XK8 this would be a good candidate.
This
car has a clean car fax.
Note: the pictures of the car were taken after washing the outside and vacuuming the
inside of the car.
The car was not professionally detailed.
