For sale is a 2003 Ducati Multistrada 1000DS, with the fuel-injected 992cc twin with dual spark-plug heads. The mileage is currently 20,XXX; I am riding it so it will go up a bit. It has an aftermarket windshield (do not know the brand) that can be seen in the photos, and I do have the stock windscreen and frame. Other upgrades include a Ducati Performance gel seat (rider), Ducati Performance hard cases (these can fit a full-face helmet), a Dynamic Accessories passenger backrest (I also have the stock grab-bar), a Ducati Corse tank protector, and ProGrip 837 aftermarket grips (I have the stock grips, but not the stock bar-ends). There are also leads for a battery tender in place, though I do not have the charger. The bike was serviced at 18,000 miles by Powersports Outlet in Prescott Valley; the valve clearance was adjusted, the oil and filter were changed (Castrol semi-synthetic), and the chain was adjusted and oiled. Tires are Michelin twin-compound radials; I do not know when they were purchased, though I estimate that they are at better than 90 percent treadlife. There are some scuffs and scratches, particularly on the hard-bags, though overall the bike is in excellent condition. There are no mechanical issues, and it has a clean and clear title; I'm selling it because I don't ride it often enough. Asking $4000 obo. Serious inquiries only, please.
