My 2002 FLHRCI is an awesome ride! It is in excellent condition, and runs like a watch. I've owned 6 different Harleys, and this is the best one I've had. Got a bad back and gonna have to give it up. I really do hate to sell this bike, but I'm not gonna just let it sit.
2002 is considered by many to be the best year for the twin cam. IN 2003, H-D changed to Chinese crankshafts and cheap ball bearings on the crank. Research it, and you'll see that the runout spec went from .003 to .012 in 2003. Translation, more vibration and shorter engine life. The '02 is bulletproof with Timken Tapered Roller Bearings.
This bike had the Big Bore upgrade and Screamin Eagle heads at around 15k miles. This is a $2500 upgrade. It is quick, responsive and well tuned. No hesitation, no sluggish starts, and no popping. Awesome for whatever your riding style. No dents or dings, no leaks, no problems, no bull. No surprises. You will not be disappointed.
