Up for auction: a 2000 Schwinn Peloton Pro in excellent condition, the bike has no mechanical or riding issues - it's prepared to be ridden by you.
This is a Peloton Pro, it was made with lion's shares than the Peloton. It's one notch below a real Schwinn Paramount and better than some Schwinns that have the Paramount name on them or that individuals promote as being a Paramount. It's a steel bike, I believe it has a 56cm frame. The stand over height is a little less than 31.5 inches. For even more information check out waterfordbikes.com/SchwinnCat/flschwinn_1/2000_47.html and waterfordbikes.com/SchwinnCat/flschwinn_1/2000_85.html.
It has a couple of blemishes/marks but no dents or rust and absolutely nothing is split or broken. The best side brake hood and lever are scuffed up a bit. The chain-side chainstay apparently does not have a clear layer on it. The seat tube has 2 "DIADORA" decals on it, obviously the initial owner put them on - I'm not going to eliminate them, I'll leave that as much as the purchaser.
The handlebar stem (Bontrager), handlebars (Bontrager), handlebar caps, tires (Continental Gator Hardshell), seatpost (Titec), seat (Gellissima), and pedals (Wellgo) are not original. I believe everything else is original, have a look at the images.
I had 2 blowouts with this bike in a week, I've ridden it 6 times and over 160 miles given that it was last fixed without a third blowout taking place. The person who repaired it the very first time took the liner out, the second individual put a brand-new rim liner in (I'll offer you the old liner).
The additionals:.
1) a new Shimano Ultegra cassette (CS-6500) - 9 speed, 12/27T.
2) an utilized handlebar stem - this is longer than the one on the bike.
3) 2 utilized Look clipless pedals - I have no idea the model number, see the picture.
4) 2 new Shimano cleats with hardware in an unopened bundle.
5) a made use of Zefal frame pump (HPX-3).
6) a Maxxis Ultralight tube.
7) a water bottle cage.
The last Peloton Pro sold on Ebay opted for $700 plus $29.01 for shipping and it didn't come with any bonus. The last Peloton - which I mentioned above is not as great as the Peloton Pro - sold on Ebay for $599 plus $100 for shipping as well as had no bonus.
