I have 2 older LaCie Quadra D2 external tough difficult drives. Both contain the initial 500 GB 3.5 inch drives. The cases are amazing, rock strong, and in perfect shape. They have eSata, FireWire 800 and 400, as well as USB 2.0 connections and consist of power cable televisions. The disk drives also work completely, however are numerous years of ages. I updated to bigger drives so am doing away with these. (Note: the cases do not seem to be able to support drives bigger than around 800 GB.).
