Why buy one when you can have 2? This is an unusual sale for me as both horns play great but both have aesthetic issues. On both, valves are free as are slides, both horns play like a classical Canadian Brass Getzen play, and both have good compression and slot well. These horns were made in the late 1980's by Getzen and are no longer commercially available. Long story behind both horns. The one that is all brass/lacquer is a composite of a beloved horn whose bell was irreparably crushed. I bought a second canadian brass trumpet that, although playing very well, played differently than I had come to expect (albeit still a great horn, with finish issues). A friend of mine then took the bell off the second CB horn and placed it on my first. The missing bell was replaced with a silver Calicchio bell. I have worked both and gigged with both and they do not disappoint. But I have moved on to a Wayne Bergeron Yamaha and thus have not been playing them frequently enough to justify keeping them. Come complete with a 2 trumpet case (not original). Mouthpiece on request but that is such a personal thing. Both horns have finish issues and the calicchio bell is not perfect, so look carefully at all pictures because these horns are as is, and will be nonrefundable/nonreturnable. I bought both for a total of $1600 between 5 and 10 years ago. You can have BOTH for much less.
