I?m pairing these together because I bought the carpet to go with the chandelier. I think they work well together & would prefer to sell them as a set. If you only want one of them we can discuss that.

　　We bought this antique 10-light chandelier in Belgium. It is hand-painted brass from either Italy or Belgium, we?re not sure. It is fully functional and does not need any work; we used it in our old house for years. We just don?t have a place for it in our new home so it has been in storage since ?00. I am including 10 bulb adapters because it has European-sized sockets: adapters cost around $2 apiece. (We have no problems with adapters we?re using in a different chandelier). For storage I shortened the chain but there are 4 additional links you can see in the photo.

　　I bought the carpet during a deployment to Turkey specifically to go with this chandelier. The rug is high-quality machine-made 100% wool and is 1 cm thick; the fringe is part of the carpet weave, not added-on like they do with the cheap imitations. The design is called Firuze and was made by Atlas Halilari (not sold in the US). The carpet came with a 20-year unconditional warranty, so it was made to last ? we used it for about 5 years in our bedroom, so it didn?t get a lot of wear. We haven?t used it since ?99, so it has a lot of life left in it. It?s not perfect, but nothing immediately noticeable, thus the low price.

　　I took a lot of pictures so you can see how the shade of the carpet changes from different light angles and the lay of the fibers. Full pictures were taken from same position, I flipped the rug ? look for the markers.
