Selling my Sea Ray 400DB with 2 bathroom and 2 room lay out. New Jersey clean title in my name. Under 900 hours on twin Caterpillar 3116 that run great. Engines last ran a few months ago before being winterized. Both Engines show to have new top ends likely done by previous owner. Engines on boat are worth asking price. I have another project and no time to finish this one so I decided to prioritize my new project. Ive done most of the not so fun work leaving the finish work to bring it over the finish line. Boat had smoke and some fire damage in the FWD state room bed. The smoke spread thru the entire boat. Most of it has been cleaned up but there is still more to clean up. During the repair process found stringers to have bad section so had them redone with Epoxy over composite core material material making the boat stronger then when the boat was new. I project to have under 200 hours to finish the project with subbing out the wash and wax of the exterior and some of the clean up work. If you are not familiar with this type of work this is probably not the boat for you. I left the tabs to the original bed to make it simpler to build the new one. I have the overhead hutches and bolsters which will need to be covered in wood laminate or vinyl. The last picture shows what the state room should look like when completed.Ill provide a spread sheet with the materials list of what is left to finish which I estimate to be around 5k in materials and I will include the material and parts I have already purchased. The main component missing is the wood laminate rolls which I found a vender RestorationMarine that sells it by the roll with identical color but superior product when compared to the original. Most of the work is needed in the master FWD state and master bath. I left the hall way floor loose to make it easier to run the new water lines before sealing them. Was in the process of cleaning out the master bath smoke damage and running new pex water hoses to the sump and update the fixtures. Next would be Finish striping the old head liner in the master state, installing new headliner, closets and bed frame in the master state. I have all of the original overhead trim and hutch which will need to be recovered in wood laminate or vinyl. Will provide you with pictures and original build diagram from Sea Ray for the FWD bed. Diesel boats like this go in the 150k range and higher with many more hours on the boat and engines. There is plenty of room to build this with newer appliances and navigation at this price point. This is a 44 overall length with great lay out for entertaining, spacious fly bridge, 8KW generator, 3 range stove with windlass and large swim deck capable of holding a dinghy.
