1998 MOTO GUZZI CENTAURO ONE OWNER - COLLECTOR'S MOTOR CYCLEPRICE LOWEREDHistory: I was part owner of a European motorcycle dealership in Georgia. After securing the Moto Guzzi franchise we went to Moto Guzzi's American headquarters in Angier, N.C. The Centauros were just arriving and after riding one I knew I was in love. When the first two arrived at our shop and we unpacked them I pulled out my check book and bought this bike. She has always been garaged in climate controlled conditions and was a cherished part of my once substantive collection.As I am approaching 70 I can no longer ride motorcycles due to health conditions and this bike one of the last two in my collection going up for sale.Included is a Power Commander control, custom tune firmware, original manual, original tool kit, oil filter tool, dealer service manual on CD, the original mirrors and a new UFI oil filter. The custom tune is loaded on the bike and eliminated the flat spot in the torque curve that was required for the bike to pass import emissions. You may rest assured you can now enjoy contributing to climate change whilst riding this torque beast.A mistral exhaust crossover has been installed, eliminating the hideous and heavy expansion tank under the bike which we named "The Bagel Warmer." The original Lafranconi pipes are un-altered. We installed after-market pipes on several customer bikes and the bikes were insanely loud. This one is not.Even after all these years this bike always draws attention and I was frequently asked, what new bike is that? She is a pleasure to ride all day. I've had several long trips on her and comfort is not an issue. I am 6'2" and the bike suits me perfectly. Only ethanol-free fuel has been used in this bike since new.The bike will need new tires as she has been stored in my large garage since 2019. Fuel tank was drained so no issues there. A new battery will be installed upon sale.Shipping arrangement is the responsibility of the buyer and full payment will be due prior to pick-up by either bank wire transfer or certified check.
